Bridget is an archaeologist with international and Australian experience. As part of her studies, Bridget participated in a range of excavations including at a Mesolithic site in France, a burial site in the Philippines and various Aboriginal and historic sites in the ACT and NSW. Bridget contributed specialised skills to these projects, researching unpublished heritage literature, drawing measured site illustrations and providing an English translation of a French site report. She also has skills in lithic analysis, laboratory processing of faunal and cultural remains, shell midden analysis, Aboriginal community consultation and rock art recording. Bridget has worked with heritage legislation in the ACT, NSW and Queensland. Her Honours thesis considered the effectiveness of heritage practices in the ACT in understanding the nature of significance at Aboriginal and historic sites in Canberra.
