Graham Wilson’s ability to understand and interpret complex cultural heritage places is evident in his diverse experience. This includes large-scale historic heritage excavations, painstaking historical research and advice on significant interpretation projects. A recent example is his successful collaboration for AHMS with Art of Multimedia on the Finding Bennelong Project www.findingbennelong.com.au.
Since 1978 Graham has undertaken a range of archaeological and heritage related projects in New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania, Western Australia, Norfolk Island and the United Arab Emirates. This work has included the preparation of archaeological assessments, impact assessments, archaeological monitoring, formal excavation, field surveys, peer review, teaching and documentary studies. Graham has also contributed to interpretation plans, management plans, conservation plans, and regional and thematic studies. Technical specialisations in material culture, archival research, archaeological modeling, site formation processes, field methods, geology and geomorphology.
