Historic Places Team Leader
Kylie is a heritage interpretation specialist, historian and heritage advisor with a background in design and photography. For more than fifteen years she has worked within the heritage industry gaining extensive experience in various aspects of heritage ranging from interpretation planning and strategies, detailed archival documentation and recording, historical research, conservation and construction methodologies and implementation, as well as report and policy writing. She is also accomplished at implementing training for staff and clients and in liaising with both internal and external stakeholders ensuring smooth work and communication flows.
In addition she has experience in communications with a background in public relations and marketing as well as being a published author. It is the combination of her unique set of skills – concept, design, historical research, narration and hands-on experience that gives Kylie the ability to produce thoughtful, creative and professional heritage interpretation solutions, across a multitude of platforms as well as provide extensive and effective project management.
