Laressa Barry is an archaeologist with experience in the identification, assessment and management of Aboriginal heritage and historical sites throughout NSW and regional Australia. Laressa is skilled in the preparation of Aboriginal and historical archaeological assessments, research designs, impact assessments, and post excavation reporting. She is experienced in undertaking historic research, Aboriginal and historical excavation, artefact analysis and cataloguing and Aboriginal community consultation. Laressa has a sound understanding of Commonwealth and State legislation, and local planning controls, as well as best practice heritage principles. Laressa can also perform preliminary stone artefact identification and analysis–particularly microscopic use wear analysis of Australian raw stone materials.
